Available in April 2019
In order to get the most from this course, we recommend that you start with The Anatomy of the Mind-Body Connection.
This course is for anyone who is experiencing physical and/or emotional pain. Physical and emotional pain, are very closely connected and because of this, this course addresses them together.
This course builds on The Anatomy of the Mind-Body Connection to show you how pain is transmitted through your body. Using more of Elise’s easy to understand medical illustrations, you’ll learn how you can use your mind-body connection to relieve your pain.
During this course you’ll learn that you are not your pain. You have a witness, or a thinker of the thought, who oversees your body. Your thinker can learn how to access and release your body’s natural painkillers to gain control over your pain.
Description
Using your mind-body connection, you can learn how to access your body’s natural painkillers to gain control over your pain.
Mindfulness has proven to be very effective when it comes to pain relief. The Will to Heal™ Technique takes mindfulness a step further, by introducing visual images that give your mind a positive focus to enhance your healing process.
The Will to Heal™ Technique shows you how and why you feel pain. Once you have the basic visual concepts in your mind, Andrew takes you on a guided meditation where you can directly apply the technique to relieve your pain. There are two guided meditations included in this course. One addresses physical pain, and the other addresses emotional pain.
In this course you will:
- Learn how to use your mind-body connection to release your body’s natural painkillers
- Learn how pain messages are transmitted through your body to your brain
- Examine the connections between the emotions you feel and your pain
- Understand how your thoughts influence the production of the chemical messengers produced in your body and use this knowledge to naturally reduce your pain.
By listening to the guided meditations several times and practicing the technique, many people have experienced success in relieving their pain.
